Hotel Praha was officially opened in 1981 and is an excellent example of modern Czech architecture of the 1980s. The hotel was originally exclusively constructed for the purpose of providing accommodation for official state visits and delegations.

The hotel is situated in 8 hectares of private park just off the main road that connects Prague’s Ruzyne International airport (Letiste Praha) with the city centre.
